Today’s article is taken from the June 2005 issue of Golf World magazine.
I have inserted links below to the 2 page article that contains some visuals to provide you with a better understanding.
This article is about going through several simple drills as follows:
- Goal setting – Know exactly what to work on, how to go about practising and for how long.
- Camera work – Filming oneself at practice allows you to evaluate the positions of your swing and to compare what you want to do with what you are currently doing.
- Playing a course on the driving range – For each shot, go through the full pre-shot routine, mentally visualising the shot and physically making the swing action.
- Using airflow balls to practice – This will ensure that you don’t focus on ball flight and instead focus on your mechanics
Happy golfing 🙂
