Happy New Year 2022!

Today I taught my first ever official golf lesson to a friend who has a goal of learning how to play golf.

It was pretty daunting and I felt I was all over the place and had to really think about how to teach the golf swing. I thank J for pushing me outside the comfort zone and making me do this. She has a pretty good overall dynamic of the swing and just needs to pay attention to the specific positions and keep practising. Also met K who is also getting into golf and very enthusiastic about improving.

A video was taken of my golf swing from the diagonal corner and it looks like the flatness of my back swing is still there! Let’s see what to do about it in the coming weeks …

Venue and cost: Melbourne Golf Academy, 50 balls $11. I also bought a card consisting of 1000 balls for $150.
