WEEK 7 ~13~

Wednesday 9.03.16 (Week 7)
Venue: MGA
Quantity: 100 golf balls
Clubs practised: Sand wedge, Pitching wedge, 9-iron, 7-iron, 5-iron, Driver and 3-wood (Long game)

I will also put in about 30 minutes of putting practise at home today.

Total time practised: 2 hours

The routine that I use for my long game is to hit 10 balls per club starting from the sand wedge. I am still focussing more on getting the swing technique correct than on my direction. I am however making mental notes of the distances I hit using each club.

I am slowly getting the hang and rhythm of my golf swing. I managed to hit more than a handful of sweet spot shots with each of the clubs I practised which was a very satisfying feeling 🙂

I will need to do weights to increase the strength in my arms because I tend to lag them behind my hips on my downswing. Hopefully I can post a video to explain this in the near future.
