Yesterday I played 17 holes at the local public golf course in Glen Waverley. I could not find hole number 12 (!!) explaining the 17 holes. It was the first time in a very long time that I played by myself (brother A decided not to join me).
I played the second 9 a lot better than the first 9. First nine had quite a few double bogeys. The second 9 had more bogeys and pars, 1 birdie but a triple bogey.
Im happy with myself for going (almost) the full round and pushing myself. I had moments especially on the back nine of purely hit shots and that feeling of joy that comes from that was great.
I also noticed that my putting was more on target with just a few practise sessions earlier in the week. Quite a few 10 footers went slightly past the hole.
I was meant to hit balls today but it was very hot in the afternoon so I decided to stay at home and practise my putting stroke instead.
The strategy for next week:
Long game practise – 2 days
Short game practise – 2 days
Putting practise – At least 30 minutes daily
Play 18 holes: Target score 18 over par
Have a great weekend and happy golfing 😀
