WEEK 6 ~10~

After my 9 hole round last week I went for another driving range session and started my putting practise too.

Thursday 25 Feb 16 (Week 5)
Venue: MGA
Quantity: 100 golf balls (pitching wedge, 9-iron, 7-iron, 5-iron, driver and 3-wood)
Putting: 30mins of drills (around the hole) and 18 holes game

It was very warm weather and I have to admit that ive never spent this much time in the warm sun. I need to adjust to the warm weather.

Tuesday 1 March 16 (Week 6)
Venue: MGA
Quantity: 75 golf balls (pitching wedge, 9-iron, 7-iron and 5-iron)
Putting: 20mins of drills (around the hole) and 9 holes game.

My shots were average today and also last week. Im trying to focus on the loading of the right leg on my back swing and then the pulling of my left hip and arms on the down swing. It seems to be one or the other working and when both work then my shot is good.

Today I could really feel the heat again. I think I need to improve my general fitness level before i start focussing on golf specific exercises.

I shall devise a general fitness plan and focus on building strength, stamina and suppleness.

Putting was decent. I should also start practising the short game sooner rather than later.

By the end of this new month I am going to try and sign up with a golf club if my circumstances allow, get an official handicap and work it down.
