Long term goal ~2~

At some point in 2016, I intend to take up membership at a golf club and resume playing. The first thing I would have to do is to reinstate my handicap most probably by playing a few rounds.

I expect that my starting handicap would be within the 18 to 20 range.

Then I will have to ensure I have decent golf clubs, the proper shoes and a good practise routine working on all aspects of the game (long game technique, short game technique, putting, mental game and fitness).

I have always wanted to be off a single digit handicap – the lower the better. The challenge would be to reduce my handicap within one year and then start playing tournaments. Hopefully one day to be able to play at the Australian Women’s Golf Open and Australian Ladies Masters.

In the meantime, I have been offered a free pass to play at a golf course in Geldrop (near Eindhoven) in the Netherlands which I shall accept after practising a little ….
