Pose for the Picture ~20~

This post is based on the article taken from the September 1998 issue of Australia Golf Digest.

This article was written by Lisa Ann Horst, an LPGA teaching professional and part time model.

A common swing fault is poor balance which is most observable in the follow through of a swing. One way to check if you were off balance during your swing is to note if you’re off balance at the finish and falling onto your back foot. And similarly, if you are in balance in your follow through, then your balance during the swing is good too.

A tip to improve your consistency is to pretend that someone is taking a picture of you in the classic finish position with the weight on the left foot, body facing the target and hands over your left shoulder – and hold the position for a couple of seconds.

Happy golfing!
